Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Procedures for collection of small claims..Out of state

I recently received a judgement in small claims court in the State of Iowa from a large company based in Florida. The amount is approx. $400.00. When the president of the company was emailed and sent a certified letter notifying them, there was no response. I am wondering just what the procedure now would be. The clerk at the court house told me the chances for receiving the judgement are slim and none....Of course the monatary return would not be worth the trip from Iowa to Florida...Please advise...Thanks

You need to register your judgement in the county where you might find some assets of this corporation to have the County judge order a garnishment or siezureof the assets and sold to satisfy your judgement, welcome to the world of collections
