Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I purchased an Apple Notebook from my previous Boss -

I was recently informed by an FBI Theft Task Force that it's stolen merchandise.

I am required to turn in the laptop or it will be confiscated -

I shall be turning it into the local police department this weekend-

How do I go about getting my money back from the seller -

It's been 4 months since I purchased it.

You may not be entitled to anything from the seller. It would depend on how he got the item.

You could file a small claims action against the seller. This can be done online and is very inexpensive to do.
