Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I purchased and item via internet. It did not fit, I received an authorization to return the item and it was returned on 6-23-09. I still have not been reimbursed. I made several phone calls and sent several emails, none of which were answered. I have a friend in the area, and he went to the business, and I received an email on the 28th of Sept. that they were "working" on the credit. It needed to be approved. It is the 3rd of Oct and I still haven't received the credit. It is $671.00. A lot of money for them to have in their account rather than me. What is the allowed time frame to issue a credit? Shouldn't they be liable for interest as well? Do I have any legal recourse?
