how to put a lein on a lawsuit

my ex owes $50,000.00 in back child support.He is

suing an ins. co. for a large amount of money for

getting hurt,(175 stiches in his forearm).I need to know how to put a lein before he gets it and takes off.He agreed to pay me what he owes if I back off

with sed untill he gets his money.I'm raising our 4 kids with no help from him.We do fine but,If I had the back support we could finally own a home.thanks!

There is a way to place a lien on such claims it is very technical and I would not advise you on such without doing formal research.
