question

A collection account that was charged off. it was--name removed--revolving account unsecured credit card. Recieved summons indicates can garnish wages, collect property. Can this happen on unsecured liability that has been charged off.? they have requested for me to contact them in next 20 days?

The fact the credit card debt is charged off has nothing to do with whether the debt can be collected. Charging off a debt is an accounting process.

If you were served a summons, you weren't requested to do anything. I recommend you re-read the summons - you have 20 days to respond or suffer the consequences of not doing so.
