My husband passed away does that make me responsible for his medical bills and or any other debit his name only

No. Unless you are obligated through a separate agreement, you are not liable for such

bill in only his name. Creditors may assert a claim against his estate property through

probate court, depending on the nature of the claim and his estate property

not sure what is meant in the above answer separate agreement howevr while my spouse was alive he was making payments toward bills for medical etc. that insurance or actually medicare did not pay plus a credit card in his name only not joint should i contact all and advise them that my spouse can no longer make these payments?

yes, you need to send a certified copy of the death certificate to all creditors advising them of his death.

Often, health care providers will request a spouse to be responsible for medical

bills; a "separate agreement" may be signed. If you signed no such agreement,

you are not liable.
