Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I received a bill from a small medical practice from NJ from 2005. I currently live in Florida and have not received any other billings from this establishment. They wrote me a letter saying if I do not pay thy will send me to a collection agency. Do I have to pay this?

IF you owe the bill, pay it. If you do not owe this bill, let them know they have contacted the wrong person. Otherwise they will seek a judgment and may attach you checking and savings to retrieve their funds, not to mention the havoc this creates on your credit report.
