Hello, I just received a judgement against me for an uninsured car acident in another state that I knew nothing about. What can I do. The judgement is from NJ and I reside in FL.

You need to contact an attorney in the state of NJ in the county in which the judgment occured to see what happened and to move to set it aside if you did not have notice of the claim. It the creditor is now attempting to collect the judgement here, you need to contact local cousel to fight it.

If they did not domesticate the Judgement from NJ in FL than they cant collect it. Speak to a lawyer about this issue.
