Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I received a past-due demand letter for a past due HOA fee. The letter is dated Jan 13, 2011. All payments were made and up to date before the letter was received (via certified mail). I have not received any past due letters or a letter stating this account was going to collection until this letter from an attorney. Am I legally obligated to pay the attorney fees, delivery fee and interest. I have sent the attorney all receipts, but they keep sending me letters.

You are only liable for attorney fees and costs if you late in payment.
