Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I received a summons to appear in small claims court for a credit card I could no longer afford to pay. I am not disputing the debt, I just don't have the means to pay at this time. What are my options?

Appear for the hearing - ask for mediation and see if you can get the bill reduced.
appear at the hearing. request mediation aand try to work something out. Call in advance if you want and try to resolve the debt with a payment schedule.
If the debt is greater than 4 years, and it is a collection company seeking payment, you may not owe the debt. If that is the case, see a consumer lawyer who handles these cases.
