Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Hi.. I was recently enrolled in Florida Career College but withdrew myself because they changed my schedule and now I owe $1,589. I was in school for just 3 weeks and had to take a leave of absense of 3 weeks for a medical surgery I came back and everything was changed the days of class the hours and they dropped 2 class due to the change I was no longer able to attend and now I'm with a debit because of them I was wondering if I have a legal case against the school I'm 19 with a 5-month old and it really doesn't seem fair I want to continue my education but these people basically just screwed me over... So I ask do I have a case?

Probably not. Most colleges will offer an alternative if you have to leave for any medical reasons. The fact that you did not continue your courses is a decision you had to make. Have surgery does not necessarily eliminate your ability to do the work. they would have done on-line with you or forwarded to you the assignments..
