Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I just recieved a call from a collection agency from a credit card over 7 years ago that I never paid. It is about 7,000$, they were threatening court. I was just wondering if that is possible or if it would fall under the statute of limitations. Is this just a scare tactic or could they really go through with it. Or if there is anyway to get out of paying it in this tough economy.
