Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

In ref to a letter from unemployment office in NV trying to collect 1.393.--

a no fault overpayment

we relocted to FL in 4/08 from NV

and my claim ended in Jan.'09 and was told qualify for the extention

Yet in Sept.'09 when extention ended, and I was asked to call in

was told that still have another regular claim which I should have been paid first (!)

and had to be straightened out and to call in one week later

which I did to start claiming the week, the system took all the info, accepted claim

yet no funds were deposited

playing head games with people

I called the NV office to find out Thursday,8 of Oct. and was told there is a overpayment and needs to be paid back, even it was not my fault; and get letter in mail (which I did Oct.9)

Thank you for your reply and advise, what are my legal rights ?

When the UIB made the mistake, how can I be treathened if I do not pay back,my credit report etc.,

Thank you

Even if UIB made a mistake, you are still responsible to pay it back.
