Repayment of Credit Card Debt

What can a credit card do to me if I do not pay back my credit card debt. I know my credit score will be killed but what else can they do financially?

In addition to reporting the debt to the credit bureaus, the card company can sue you and obain a judgment against you if successful. If the card company obtains a judgment, it can garnish wages, check books, savings, lien your home, etc.

If you debt is an old one, see a consumer lawyer who handles these cases. You may have some defenses to the claim.
