Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

repo a car

I sold a car to an employee/friend, interest free, payments $200.00 for 2 years, no formal contract, but the car title is still in my posession and name. After paying 4 payments the person left the state with the car. I have not heard from them. Do I have the right to go to the state and retrieve the car?
