Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I'm retired from the Air Force and the State of Alabama. If I stop making payments on my timeshares property, will the property mortage company still be able to collect from me? Also I will apply for Social Security next year.

Why would you think they wouldn't be able to collect from you? Because your only income is retirement and (soon) social security? It's true that retirement and social security can't be garnished from Florida residents, but they may be able to seize assets from you, put a lien on your houe, etc. You should speak to a collections or civil litigation attorney to see exactly where you stand.
