Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Returning a car to dealer

My son-in-law signed a contract with a dealership using only his information and a promise to pay $2500 down. He's in the military and he doesn't have $2500 to put down. He just got the car today, 9-23-07, what wording should he use to let the dealer know he doesn't wish to keep the car? I believe the dealership is searching for a finance company to accept to pay this loan.

He is stuck with the agreement he made. There is no way to rescind a contract unless the dealer wants to agree. The only possibility that may work out for him is for the lenders not to agree to finance the deal and then the dealer will want to get the vehicle back.
