Rights of Cosigner on Auto Loan

I am a cosinger on an auto loan which is now 60 days past due. I do not want the loan to default and end up with a reposession on my credit.

I need to know if I can: Take posession of the car and sell it. All of this without the permission of the other party on the loan.

Do I have any rights under the laws in Florida. I am currently a Washington state Resident.
