Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
Is it safe to open a new bank account when i have a bank levy / garnishment on my exsisiting one. I have to assume that it is bank specific and not going to cover any other banks? It is not a IRS OR Government it's from a debt collector. I am concerned that anything linked to my Social Security number may be at risk.

If the first garnishment is insufficient to pay the judgment, they can have a second issued.
