Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Seizing Assets

I just recently acquired money from the sale of a home. I put the money into a cd in my name, but it is my daughter's college fund. I had a judgement for a voluntary repo 3 years ago. The bank contacted me today regarding paying off my judgement and it is the first that I have heard from them in 3 years. Can they take the money invested in the cd? I told them that I cannot think of paying anything on this right now because I'm in the middle of a divorce. What are my options on this? I've considered filing bankruptcy, but not sure what the options are since I have that cd in my name.
