Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

After being served with a letter of affidavit of non-payment. The Plantiff requested that a direct entry of final judgement for the amount that I owed due to the Stipulation of the settlement. How long do it take after this has been done before you see it on your credit report?

Once the affidavit has been filed with the court, the court will enter a Final Judgment against you. From there, the creditor will record the final judgment in the public record. Once it hits the public record for the county, it will get picked up by the credit reporting agencies. You're looking at roughly anywhere from 10-60 days depending on how fast the judge gets to it, how fast the creditor's attorney gets it recorded, and the lag time between the recording and the regularly schedule public records search by the bureau.
