Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I have been served a subpoena

Hello, My name is PW. I was issued a credit card in '99 or so. I since maxxed it out at $1K in mid '03. I have been ignoring them since. Now the principal, lawyer fees and interest, puts it at $3K. I was ignoring them since I owe $25K in debt on other cards that I have also since defaulted on. O.k. here's the question(s):

1: If I don't go to court will I go to jail? Will they just rule against me as the paperwork seemed to indicate? Will they set a new date and demand I come or be arrested? Basically, what can they do?

2: If they do their ''worst'' what, if anything, can they seize or lean of mine? I have a few cars (a busted up MAYBE $500 Toyota SR5 a '99 Nissan about $4K and a '02 suzuki GSXR that I paid $5k,(still worth 5G'S based on the new mods). And I don't care if I have liens on my name (or cars) but I want to keep my vehicles, ESPECIALLY my motorcycle. Also I don't have a trust fund, bank account or any other properties, ect.

3: If liens are put on my cars, can't I sell them to a friend for like a $1 and and then keep them from being siezed? Should I sell them before court so that I have nothing in my name when I go to court (which I probably won't go) Thank you, PW

No you will no go to jail, there are no debtor prisons. The worst that happens is they lien your property, garnish your wages etc. Please contact my office to discuss the details in more depth.
