What sets precedence in Florida for credit card agreements, company located in Georgia re: statute of limitations? I live in Florida, got the credit card while in Florida and does Florida consider credit cards an open account or written contract re: sol?

The Florida Statute of Limitations on a debt is generally 5 years, but there are some limited scenarios where the limitation drops to 4 years. You would be subject to the Florida law under most circumstances.
