Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I signed a contract at my daughter's ballet school for six months. For work related issues I stopped taking my daughter to the school and cancel my credit card so they could not take any money.
Am I liable even if I did not receive the services?

Your liability depends on the contract for the ballet services. If the contract could not
be cancelled or terminated, or required a certain notice prior to termination, you would
be liable even if services were not received. Perhaps you should have terminated the
contract by notifying the school.

Its very possible. since the class was for your daughter - your situation would not disqualify payments under the contract.
