Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
Small Claims Court
An appliance repairman made a visit to my house and left before giving me a quote. When he finally called me back with a quote me he told me that if I didn't accept his quote that I owed him $45 for the service call. I refused to pay the $45 since it was never disclosed to me up front or at any other time. I never signed anything. He's threatened to take me to small claims court to recover. What's the likelyhood of him winning his case?
