Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I had a small claims judgement against me over 10 years in florida. It still shows up on court records. I never payed it. Is it still valid? If no longer valid then how do I go about getting it removed?

Yes, it's valid. The judgment is a public record, so it's going to stay on your credit report until its paid or it expires. You have another 10 years to go, because a judgment is valid for 20 years. Interest on the judgment has been growing for the previous 10 years.

IF you need it removed you might want to make a deal with the creditor to see if they will accept a small payment.
