my sons dad is being foreclosed on by a bank and i found out through public records through a search of my own resolving my own inquiries that HIS foreclosure was under MY public records< further investigation i found a proof of publication in the Apopka chief (Free legal notices)of his foreclosure upon reading it I am being listed as a defendant and the foreclosure is being directed to me!!!! WE were never married i never lived in the house and i have never had a mortgage.I am being told to send a written response in my defense and that if i don't then a default will be ordered against me.I have NOOOOOOO clue what is going on and cant get ahold oif the lawyer plzzzz help why am i being listed and im afraid of my deadline being up .It was published on Feb 29th and not sure what to do to fix this.

If you did not sign the note, you are not liable.
You may have been listed as a tenant on the premises - not necessarily as a co-owner. Prior to a default being issued you still have time to reply. I suggest you Answer the complaint that was sent to you, file the original with the clerk of court and forward a copy to the attorney named on the pleadings.
Run to a lawyer to answer the complaint properly.
