Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

What is one spouses liability for the other spouses personal debt?
My wife has run up considerable debt on her personal credit cards. Due to a downsizing at her place of employment, she lost her job and had to settle for a position that pays much less. She has defaulted on her debts.
If her creditors come after her, will I be liable for her debts.
