In the state of Fl. Do I have to appear at a deposition I have been summomeds to for a credit card debt?

Yes, unless you are ill, in another county, or some other reasonable excuse. But sooner or later they will take your depo if they need to, and this can be at your hospital bed or in your county, etc. If you fail to appear, the court can issue and bench warrant.
