statue of limitations
i wrote a check in 1994 and now i am filing for bankrauptcy and can they collect ten years later? thank you for any thing you can do to help me out with this information...

It seems that the statute of limitations now bars collection of the account. Nonetheless, if you are filingdiscuss the matter with your attorney. It may be wise to schedule the debt as disputed.
