Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
All I would like to know is: What is the statute of limitations on unpaid loans in Sarasota County Florida. I know the monetary limit for small claims is $5000.00 but am curious as to time from either onset or last payment. Thank you, Nancy

from last payment made, on an oral contract statute of limitations if four years and on a written contract five years.

This is not that simple. Many contracts are written by out of state companies and state a different statute of limitations in them. If this is a written contact, look at it to see if it states a specific statute of limitations and or refers to another state's law as applying.
