Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Please tell me if the Statute of Limitations will prohitb me from suing Mr. Fey for the total of $14,000 that he owes me. On 8/30/05 I loanded Mr. Fey $6000 sent by check on........ On 8/30/05 I loanded him $4000 sent by check.....and on 11/04/05 I loaned Mr. Fey $4000 via a bank transfer to his account. On 11/29/05 Mr. Fey sent me a note that verified the loan and he stated " This is to confirm that I, Barry Fey, owe Danny Kresky $14,000. $3000 to be paid on my receiving my expense check and the balance at the start of our tour". Signed Barry Fey.

He never sent me the money and now he has a book out, that he wrote and is receiving compensation for and I feel he now has the money to pay me back.

Please advise.

Thank you Danny Kresky

Unless he made a payment between 2005 and today's date, you are out of luck.
