subpoena

i am the plantif in a law suite. the defendants lawyer sent me a subpiona duces tecum for deposition. do i have to answer any of his questions or can i answer questions only at the court date that has been assinged by a judge?

n ormally you are required to bring documents to the scheduled depostion. Many times the instructions on the subpoena expalins that instead of actually attending the deposition, you can provide the documents. You better check and have a lawyer look at it becuase you must comply on way or the other.
