Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Can you be sued by a bridesmaid (whom is no longer in the wedding- at the request of the bride) in order to cover bridesmaid expenses- dress, shoes, alterations, ect. Bride does not have possesion of said items. The total cost of items is $376.00.
