sued by credit card companies

I have been recent been served to

appear in Court for two separate

hearings for the same credit card

company. Being sued for $ 2500.00

for each case. In Palm Beach County

Florida. I haven't paid on these

accounts since 2005. Even now Im

very strap for cash. What can I

expect at these pre trail hearings? I

dont owe any assets, I'm still paying

on my car.

You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. Generally, you will be referred to mediation in an attempt by the court to get the parties to reach an agreement. You will be able to offer a settlement amount or terms of repayment through a mediator who will try to facilitate a resolution of the case. If it fails to settle, it will be set for trial.
