Im being sued by a old credit card in my name only,, last payment to them was sometime in 2010 or beginning of 2011....I owe about 2600.00.... can they freeze my husband and I's joint bank account,, put liens on our joint house trailer and car

No, they cannot put a lien on joint property if you are sued only. You should contact a consumer lawyer to help you.

In addition to not being able to lien joint property, you may have other protections available. You may want to consult with an attorney who assists consumers with debt relief. Especially if you have other unsecured debt.

It kind of depends. Did they get a judgment against you? Contracts run five years so they might be looking at coming after you. You can certainly offer a lesser amount. Try negotiating with them first.
