Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
Summons
Recieved a summons for non-payment of credit card. I'm sure I will be getting another soon. It says I have 20 days to answer them and I can do it in writing, but I have no money ( or I would pay the bills). In the summons it says there are other legal requirements...just need to ask some questions I guess since the city office can't advise me on anything, because they are not attorneys they said! What ''other'' legal reguirements would there be?

The only legal requirement right now is that you answer the complaint before the deadline expires by filing your answer with the clerk's office and sending a copy of the answer to the lawyers who sued you.
