Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Summons/Notice

I got a summons/notice to appear for a mediation conference at county courthouse, if I didn't come I would dedault, was there at appointed time, was called to assembly room to meet with paintiff's attorney and mediator, was told the attorney firm for the plaintiff had called about 1/2 hour earlier to ask for a continuance, it was denied, they didn't show up, there were 3 different defendants there for that attorney and about 12-15 no shows, the summons stipulates that the plaintiffs must appear to avoid have the case dismissed for lack of prosecution, what should I do now, and what can they do now?
