Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

A supeona served

My husband found a supeona in the back yard against the fence tohim dated 2/6/08. We are assuming that it was placed in our door or left at the front door. It was not servied to us. With all the wind we have been having it must have flew. Is this legal? He has to appear for mediation for an old cred card that we thought we had paid to a different creditor and now they are coming after us again. We found it on Saturday 3/8/08 and he has to appear 3/12/08. Is this Legal to find this in the back yard and not have enough time to be prepared?

Re: A supeona served

No. It may cost you more to prove your point than to actually attend. At that time you may request more time because of the improper service.
