Time limits for repayments

A bank has resurfaced to try to garnish my wages after i was ''let go'' in 1999. They went after the offender, exwife, now they're back. Is this legal

Whether the bank is acting within the statute of limitations will depend on the facts of your case. Also, if they successfully collected against your ex or are pursuing you for a debt obligation that is not yours then their claim may be barred.
