Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Timeshares

My husband and I purchased a timeshare over a year ago in Florida under a VERY high-pressured salesman. We didn't know we could cancel it within 10 days. I'm a student and money is getting tighter. We've had the timeshare for sale for over a year now, no bites. What happens if we just quit paying on it? I don't care if they take it. I even offered to ''give it back'' or sign off of it, whatever it takes to get out from under the payment. We can no longer afford it as I've stopped working to finish school in full-time status. We don't plan on buying a house or vehicles for several years to come. What is the best course of action for us?
