Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
travel club membership
We bought into a travel club membership yesterday and have terrible misgivings when we got home and started looking online. I thought we would have 3 days if we changed our mind but the man said that was not true in Florida, we had to decide then. We went to a hotel in Tampa for the meeting so it's not as if he came to our home. I guess that is the difference. My husband thinks we can stop the check but I don't want to be sued. Do we have any recourse? We're seniors and should have known better. It was less than $4000, but I am actually getting sick over it.

Re: travel club membership
You should have a contract or real estate attorney look at the contract you signed.
