Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
Type your question here...I have a debt with a company that hired a collection agency to collect. I agree the debt is owed but, can not afford to pay all at once. My first payment was made for $50 and I asked that this be processed on a certain to reflect with my paycheck. They processed it prior to our agreed date. They refunded me the charges I incurred because of their mistake.
Now they have taken $100 from my bank account without my authorization and I again have incurred more charges. They had agreed to call me on a certain day and I would let them know if I could pay any thing. They did not call just took the money.
I have left the manager several messages and they did not call back. Today I get a call from a collector asking for another payment and I explained the situation.
They asked me to fax them my bank statement which I will do but, this seems very wrong.
What can I do?
