Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I am a victim of id theft, and added an extended fraud alert to my credit report. A credit card company ignored that alert and granted credit to a thief, damaging my credit which could impact my employment as a member of the military. The company admitted they violated facta. Do I have a case?
