Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I just went though a voluntary Repossession on my motor-home. I am located in Florida. Although the bank said it was not required in Florida, I did fill out a Voluntary Surrender Form.
When they came to pick the unit up, my address was listed as the address for the storage facility that the motor-home was kept at. Also, The repo agent signed the form as the witness and he filled in the wrong county that the unit was picked up in. I did not mention the errors to him.
My question is: Will the fact that the form was completed incorrectly, and also witnessed by the repo agent work to any advantage to me in any settlement negotiations?
