Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

i walked out on a lease my husband and i had at a

store we leased in florida. my husband passed away

and i could not run the business alone. today i get

a letter from an international receivables service because i am in canada right now stating the usual.

can they sue me in canada, put a lien on the place in florida or what else can they do to me. i do not have the money to pay them.

You are obligated to pay one year of the lease amount if they have not been able to lease the store since you left. They will file a judgment against you and perhaps go after any assets they can find.
