Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My wife has a joint JTWROS no a broker account with her mom who recently passed away. We live in Florida. Her mom had credit card debt. Is the brokerage account subject to collection by hte credit card companies or can my wife simply transfer the account into her name as stipulated by the will and the money is hers?

She can, but that does not mean the creditors will not try to get the assets.
