Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I am a wife of a military retiree, I get half of his retirement, I have had a past creditor contact the bank where my disbursement goes to and they have placed a freeze on my funds. The retirement is the only income I have. this is the 2nd time the bank has allowed this happen, what document should I get to serve on the bank so this doesn't happen again. Reitrement money is not to be garnished

the money you receive is not your pension. It is just income to you. Your ex is the pension holder, he would be the one the creditors could not go after. Perhaps you need to speak to an attorney as to the collection matter and see if you can have the debt excused.
