How far will they go?

I was wondering just how far would a debt collections agency go to collect a small amount of money($5,000-$20,000) if the person who owes it just left the counrty?

If he left assets in the USA and they find them they can start legal proceedings. If he left nothing they will drop it.

I do not forcast what others may do. However, if there are remaining assets, I would urge the creditor to go after them in the most effective available manner.
