Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I went to work yesterday and my boss gave me a message ...someone called and said the sheriff was comin to serve me with papers.. so I got scared and called them today and set up a payment arrangement in june to pay off this debt of 10 years old... is this legal ??

A 10 year old debt is outside the Statute of Limitations. Doubt is is valid, but would need to read the papers.
